By ascending the ranks at Merck to his global responsibilities at Takeda, Dan has significant experience in both marketing and sales roles supporting a multitude of pharmaceutical brands as an award-winning Sales Representative, Training Manager, District Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Marketing Director. These cherished experiences have given Dan the insight and know-how to help solve the challenges facing medical marketing today. He has shared his passion and expertise in many forums including national cross-company lectures, training circuits, and publications in ‘Pharmaceutical Executive’. As a passionate advocate for reaching audiences across the globe, Dan prides himself on having his finger on the pulse of what works. He has his BS and MBA from the University of Iowa.

Steven has been recognized by his peers and colleagues’ multiple times during his career with awards for leadership, innovation and collaboration.

Steven is currently a Senior Manager responsible for Professional Engagement at Novo Nordisk, Inc. (NNI) where he has led all Speaker Bureau related activities since November 2014. Some of his responsibilities include HCP identification, training planning & execution, engagement planning & management, and enterprise wide process development.

Stan Schwartz, Emeritus Associate Prof. of Medicine at UPenn, Clinical Endocrinologist, and Public Speaker

Dr. Stanley Schwartz is an Affiliate of the Main Line Health System, and an Emeritus Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, currently in a private practice in Ardmore, Pa. Dr. Schwartz received his MD in 1973 from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Schwartz actively lectures nationally and internationally about diabetes and its treatment. In the past 8 years he has been a CME speaker and has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been a lead or co-investigator for many clinical trials.

Since leaving Penn, he has received an R-01 from the NIH for studying the Genes related to LADA, written 3 book chapters, has had 28 peer-reviewed articles published and most recently A Unified Pathophysiologic Construct of DM and its Complications. He is an author of the Self-Assessment Program of the American Diabetes Assoc, the 2009/2010 AACE Diabetes Guidelines, and slide modules for primary care for AACE and Diabetes in Control 2013-2018. He is a member or fellow of international, national, and local professional societies including an Overseas Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the American Endocrine Society (ES), College of Physicians in Philadelphia, and the American College of Physicians (ACP). He’s been elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America® from 1996 to 2018. Though he does some research and teaches a great deal, most of his time is spent caring for patients.

Howard Drazner, Executive Vice President, General Manager, Vision2Voice

Howard joined Vision2Voice with 35 years of experience in a variety of senior sales, marketing and executive positions in the pharmaceutical industry. These include positions at Stuart Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca), The American College of Surgeons, and Buckley Dement, a healthcare direct marketing and fulfillment company. Howard served as a Senior Vice President and corporate officer at PDI Inc, a $100 million publically-traded company, and President of PDI's Pharmakon Division based in Schaumburg, IL. During his fourteen-year tenure at Pharmakon he helped build the organization into a top peer-interactive communications agency. Most recently Howard was President of a specialty digital production company that executes satellite and web broadcasts within the biopharmaceutical industry.
